Meet Dr. K
Dr. Kricket Koehn, known to her patients as Dr. K, is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality dental care to the Rhinelander community. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2019 and then established Northwoods Family Dental to bring her vision of patient-centered care to the area.
Her practice philosophy focuses on treating the whole person, not just their teeth, and putting patients in the driver’s seat of their own care. Dr. K is passionate about integrating advanced technology, like the Solea laser for anesthetic-free dentistry and CEREC for same day crowns, to ensure the best possible experience.
Outside the office, Dr. K has two beloved King Charles Cavalier Spaniels, Charlie and Meg, who double as cherished therapy dogs at the practice, helping patients feel calm and comfortable. When she isn’t creating beautiful smiles, Dr. K enjoys weight-lifting and arts and crafts. She is proud to serve her community both as a healthcare provider and a volunteer.

Charlie and Meg
Meet Charlie and Meg, our resident therapy dogs, here to make your visit more comfortable! These sweet King Charles Cavalier Spaniels are a special part of our team. Charlie is a registered therapy dog who is quiet, friendly, and loves people. He’s on his best behavior while mentoring Meg, who has a mind of her own and is especially fond of children.
They are happy to be held during your visit upon request (unless lasers are in use). Please let us know if you have allergies, as this breed is not hypoallergenic. We are happy to accommodate.
